Drink water with a healthy twist.

Water doesn't have to be boring, all you need is a little creativity and your favorite fruits.

If you find yourself having a hard time drinking the appropriate amount of water your body needs, then maybe flavored water can be your friend. No I'm not referring to adding those chemical-laden artificially flavored powdered supplements to your water! Your water should always be consumed in its natural state without all of the artificial flavored enhancements. To enhance the flavor of your water try adding your favorite fruits, vegetables, herbs or organic vegan powdered-supplements.


What should I add to my water for a healthy boost?

Here is a list of just a few natural healthy ingredients you can add to your water for a nutritional boost:

  • Ginger: Anti-inflammatory, Antioxidants, Anti-diabetic properties, Lower cholesterol levels

  • Cucumbers: Promotes hydration, Alkaline, Antioxidants

  • Lemons: Detoxifying, Increase Metabolism, Good source of vitamin C & helps prevent kidney stones

  • Spirulina Powder: Ultra-healing detoxifying properties, Good source of Iron, High Protein, Anti-inflammatory, High in Chlorophyll, which helps remove toxins from the blood and boost the immune system.

Detox water is an easy way to help flush out toxins with very low calories. Detox water can aid in weight loss, balancing the pH of the body, better digestive health, boosting immune function, improving mood, increasing energy levels & improving skin complexion.


These are just a few of my favorite things to add to my water. They simply enhance the taste and have a natural detoxification effect on the body. Try adding one or a combination of these great natural ingredients to your water and drinking early in the morning before consuming foods, then at night before bed to help flush toxins out of your body!
